We’re United for #GivingTuesday!

Join the United Horse Coalition on Dec 1 and let’s show our support for at-risk horses and the organizations (and owners) that care for them.

In this time of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Whether that’s through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries, generosity has been helping the entire world get through this global pandemic. Together.

The United Horse Coalition is participating in GivingTuesday today, the global day of unity and giving. As you know, our organization has been working tirelessly to create and maintain the UHC’s Equine Resource Database – a National database of safety net programs and resources to help owners of at-risk horses and those in transition. We are also here for the Equine Industry to provide a hub of information on up to date resources for COVID-19 relief and assistance programs. In this time of uncertainty, UHC is needed more than ever.

But we can’t do this without you! Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too! Join the movement today!

If you believe in the work we do and want to see it continue, please consider making a donation today on #GivingTuesday.

Thank you for being a part of the United Horse Coalition. Together we can help reduce the number of horses at-risk, or in transition by promoting Responsible Ownership through education and options available for horse owners.

How You Can Help:

The UHC is funded by its member organizations and donations from caring individuals and groups. If you would like to help reduce the number of horses at-risk, or in transition, please make a donation through the American Horse Council Foundation, a non-profit Section 501(c)(3) organization.  Donations to the UHC help horse at-risk by promoting responsible ownership through education, publications, the UHC Roundup, and public awareness campaigns.  Your donation will also help to grow and maintain the UHC Equine Resource Database and COVID-19 Resource sites.

Owning Responsibly:

The United Horse Coalition is a broad alliance of equine organizations that have joined together under the American Horse Council to educate the horse industry about the issues facing horses at-risk or in transition. We seek to provide information for existing and prospective owners, breeders, sellers, and horse organizations regarding the long-term responsibilities of owning and caring for horses, as well as focusing on the opportunities available for these horses.

Our Mission:

Through industry collaboration, the UHC promotes education and options for at-risk and transitioning horses.

Join the Cause Today!

Our members are the heart and soul of the United Horse Coalition, and they are the driving force behind the work we do.  As a collaborative effort, it’s important that the United Horse Coalition be comprised of many different organizations that can come together as one collective voice to help at-risk horses and those in transition.  We cannot support and sustain the wonderful work UHC does without its members!
