Winner of UHC’s 2022 benefit raffle Announced

The American Horse Council Foundation (AHCF) recently hosted a raffle fundraiser to benefit the United Horse Coalition (UHC) and its efforts to provide resources to horse owners in need of assistance with maintaining and ensuring the health and wellbeing of their horses.

UHC is excited to announce that Dr. Tom Lenz was randomly selected as the winner of the benefit raffle for a 2 guest, 4-night all-inclusive stay at the White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.

“It is a tremendous honor and surprise to win the White Stallion Ranch Package.  I bought the raffle tickets in an effort to support the UHC because I strongly believe in its mission with no thought about actually winning.  I’ve been a strong proponent of the UHC since it’s founding in 2005 where we were focused on raising awareness of horses in transition, educating owners and providing advice on responsible ownership.  I’ve been so impressed over the years to see the organization expand its efforts to include their Equine Response Database and their ability to further help owners in need using information coming of the Equine Welfare Data Collective, just to name a couple of its successes.  I’ll continue to support the organization and encourage others in the horse community to do the same.” says Dr. Lenz

If you, or someone you know needs help caring for their horse please reach out.  The UHC is here to help owners find the resources and tools they need to make responsible decisions on behalf of their horse.

The United Horse Coalition is a broad alliance of equine organizations that have joined together under the American Horse Council to educate the horse industry about the issues facing horses at-risk or in transition. We seek to provide information for existing and prospective owners, breeders, sellers, and horse organizations regarding the long-term responsibilities of owning and caring for horses, as well as focusing on the opportunities available for these horses.
